You could view a marketplace and only see competition and see it as a reason to not pursue. On the other hand, you can see a crowded market and believe that there must be a lot of demand and that you and your unique skill set will speak to somebody.
What do I mean by that?
There is no objective “best” when it comes to music. Sure, you have music purity snobs and super technical players, but people only care about what personally matches them and make them feel things.
So instead of feeling intimidated or outshone on a marketplace like Soundbetter, see it as the people who reach out to you want to work with you because of your unique sound that they didn’t find with anybody else. Put yourself out there to help others, not to be the “best.”
